In the year 2004, Murti Devi Memorial College Baghpat-Meerut Road, Baghpat was established by All India Shiksha Devi Education Society (Reg.) (AISDES)- an institute with innovative teacher education programs to cater the educational needs of students who aspire for teaching profession. In the beging a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course for an intake of 100 seats was started.This course is recognized by National Council For Teachers Education (NCTE) a statutory body under the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) Government of India New Delhi. And thereafter this course was affiliated by CCS University Meerut, U.P
Library: The library contains reference section, Journal section and reading room The number of books in the library is 8500. Total number of educational Journal and periodical is 25 The number of Encyclopedia available in the library is 5 copies The number of books available in the reference section of the library is around 1200.The area of the library is more than 1400 sqs.fts. providing a seating capacity for more than 100 students in the reading room.
Labs: Labs have all necessary apparatus/equipments. In ICT lab there are 33 computers and other items like OHP and LCD projector camera etc. Also uninterrupted internet connectivity has been provided for the teacher- student of the college as well as necessary soft ware.
Cafeteria: Murti Devi Memorial College endeavours to provide all students and staff with healthy eating menus.
