The Government College of Teacher Education is a premier institution devoted to quality teacher education at secondary level. The college is situated at Calicut in Kerala, the southern most state in India. It is conveniently located at the heart of the Calicut town, by the side of Mananchira, adjacent to the Town Hall, around one kilometer away from Kozhikode Railway station.
The general library is housed in the ground floor and the seminar hall is accommodated in the first floor. In addition to this main blocks

Hostel Facility
The Women’s Hostel is situated at Karaparamba, and is five kilometers away from the college campus. At present our Men’s hostel which is inside the Model School campus, currently functioning as office of the Deputy Director of Collegiate Education. Request has already been made for shifting the office from the hostel building.
