Acharya Rama Kant Mahila Shikshan Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya Shivsat, Pratapgarh came into existence in 2016-17. There was a dire need to establish a separate college of science since the region has a rural areas literacy power low than the national average. The college imparts non-conventional, professional and technical education. It has, over the period, emerged as a pioneering institution in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
