Dinabandhu Mahavidyalaya has been continuing its journey ever since its inception in the summer of 1947, the annus mirabilis of Indian history. In its illustrious existence of 68 years, Dinabandhu Mahavidyalaya has been braving odds with unrelenting determination, buoyed up by the unwavering focus on its prime objective of imparting true enlightenment to young minds. The institution has been serving the highly significant role of providing quality higher education to the largely middle and lower-middle class population of the town of Bongaon and its rural vicinity.
Library: The college library is one of its proud possessions that entitles students of different departments to around 16,381 books, including 620 periodicals/journals. The library has been thoroughly computerized so that students can access books smoothly. The library also provides Internet access and Xerox facilities to our students. Each and every book in the library has been included in the computerized index. The library boasts of many rare books that are no longer in print.
