GOVT. Library: The GECJ Library System consists of a Central Library which support the teaching, research and extension programmes of the Institute. All students, faculty members and employees of the Institute are entitled to make use of the Library facilities on taking library membership. The Library has a huge collection of books on engineering, science,humanities & as well as various journals,magazines & newspapers are also subscribed .It was initially setup in 2007 & the Central Library moved to its new building in 2009.
Communication Lab: Communication Laboratory using advanced communication technology is for increasing communication skills. Communication derives from the Latin 'communis' meaning common or shared. It belongs to the family of words that includes communion, communism and community. Until we have shared information with another person, we haven’t communicated it. They have to see the information the same way we do. Communication is the process of creating shared understanding.
Campus Wide Internet: The whole campus, including classrooms, student hostels, teaching blocks, academic and administrative buildings, are connected to the Internet & Intranet via high-speed Gigabit Ethernet links. Connections within the campus network are via high speed 1Gigabit or Gigabit Ethernet links.he campus network is also linked to the DELNET Database, a Library network aimed to providing the online access of library network to academic community with high-speed connectivity.
Bus Facility: The college owns one 60 seated bus which has been purchased from R.S.R.T.D.C. There is bus pass issued to all those students who are staying in differents parts of the city and want to avail the bus facility for to & fro attending college regularly.
Hostel Facility
Hostel Facilities Available: The boys hostel has initial capacity for 300 students. The students taking admission in 1st year are encouraged to reside in hostel so that they are safe from ragging. Each student is provided with an almirah, cot, table & chair as well as English & Hindi newspapers. There is T.V. & sports(both indoor & outdoor games) for their entertainment. There is inhouse zym for those who want to keep themselves fit & healthy and 24 hrs Telephone & Internet facility. They are given three times meals per day & special diet on weekends. There is 24 hrs facility for security guard.he girls hostel has capacity for 125 students. Each student is provided with an almirah, cot, table & chair as well as English & Hindi newspapers.The students are taken care by providing daily three meals, T.V. for their entertainment and inhouse zym to keep them healthy. Sweet dish and special diet are provided on satardays & sundays. The hostel timings are from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. The students are also provided with 24 hrs. telephone & Internet facility. There is a movement register for the inmates which is strictly followed. The hostel is guarded by 24 hrs security guard.
Scholarship Facility
Provides Scholarships: A scholarship is an award of access to an institution, or a financial aid award for a student to further education. Scholarships are awarded on various criteria usually reflecting the values and purposes of the donor or founder of the award. The Student Affairs Department administers numerous undergraduate and postgraduate scholarships and awards. These awards are based on academic achievement and may include other selection criteria such as cast, family income etc. Many are awarded automatically based on the criteria adopted by AICTE. Others require the student to complete an application form.
