This college was started in the year 1998. It offers five undergraduate courses viz., B.A. (Functional Tamil), B.Sc (Mathematics), and B.B.A (Tourism & Travel Management), BCA (Computer Applications) and B.Com. This is the only society college having the required infrastructure facilities and functioning in its own building. The college has completed a decade of yeomen service in fulfilling the aspirations of rural students.
Library: This institution is facilitated with a library which contains a number of books on the subjects of study along with Periodicals, Magazines and Daily Newspapers both in Tamil and English.This College Library has been automated through MODERNLIB software with Bar code Technology. It is maintained properly by a qualified Assistant Librarian. The total number of books available at present are 7494 in Tamil, Mathematics, Tourism, History, Computer Science, English, Commerce, Encyclopedia, General knowledge, Competitive Examination etc. Reading Room is also provided with two computers with Internet Connectivity for the use of students at free time.
Our College library is facilitated with the "Book Bank Scheme" for the welfare of Schedule Caste Students. Each Student has the facility of taking two more books apart from the usual two books taken on tickets. He/She can retain the books till the end of each semester. He/She can take another two books only after returning the books which were already taken.
Play Ground: The college had well-organized play fields and they could engage 200 students at a time. There was provision and newly constructed Athletics 200meter track and field with 100 meter straight, Cricket ground with Pitch, Kabbadi, Kho-Kho and Volleyball grounds, besides indoor games like Chess and Carrom.
Auditorium: The college has a spacious auditorium which accommodates about 200 audiences at the same time with wall mounted projector and electronic podium. It has been designed to provide good acoustics for many types of performances such as conducting meetings, functions, inter-Collegiate programmes, workshops, conferences, exhibitions, cultural programmes.
