Padmashree Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Research, Pimpri, Pune was established as Padmashree Dr.D.Y.Patil College of Pharmacy in 1994. The Institute has well-equipped laboratories with ultra modern facilities supported by highly qualified teaching faculty in all branches created to by the institute. The Central Library is furnished with reference books, text books, national and international journals and internet facility as a part of informal teaching.
Laboratories: The institute has well designed spacious laboratories equipped with ultra-modern facilities for imparting updated education and training in various subjects of Pharmacy. The laboratories are well planned as per the norms and standards of regulatory authorities of the country and are in compliance with international standards too. A spacious instrumentation room is separately set up which houses many sophisticated analytical equipments.
Computer Centre: The Institute has well-equipped computer facilities for UG, PG and Ph.D. students along with Net facility and language labs. Similarly, all the staff have been provided with a computer facility.
Library: The Institute has an ultra modern library facility as per norms of regulatory bodies. The separate reading room facility is available for undergraduate, post-graduate, Ph.D. and teaching staff.The institute has a very rich collection of latest editions of textbooks, and also have a subscription for various Indian & Foreign journals and periodicals of repute.
