Priyadarshini Bhagwati College of Engineering is established in the academic year 2007-2008, and is one among the fast growing technical institutes in the region with a view to impart high quality technical education to the aspirants of technical education in the field of Engineering.The college is situated in the heart of Nagpur city at Harpur Nagar on the main Umrer Road, at a distance of only 5 - 6 Kms from Railway Station and Bus Stand.It is well connected by rail, road and air routes.The college is in developing stage, well equipped with all kind of necessary infrastructure and qualified and dedicated faculties. It is a new set up on 06 acres situated well within the city area at Nagpur - the orange city.
Library: The Central Library is the ‘Heart’ of institute. Teaching and learning system is supported by library by providing reading material and easy access to get online information about different subjects. The library is well established and providing all facilities for students such as more than 17500 books of various subjects are available, 70 National Journals and International Journal from Springer, e-books and journals from DELNET are available. The library is also provided with Multimedia Section, NPTL DVDs and advanced software to provide extra knowledge to students. The library is fully computerized and can be accessed using the OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) system which enables the students to search the required books they specifying the author, title, subject and keywords.
Cafeteria: A big canteen along with the separate seating arrangment for Staff and student is available in the campus. Canteen is the place where students wind up in groups and creative brilliance reflects. Canteen is not only for refreshment, it also is used to sit and write assignments, sometime just to talk, take peers opinion about the project that is going on or even the right place for someone starting a project to go for distributing survey forms as that is where maximum heads can be seen at one time.
Computer Centre: The institution has procured around 585 computers of Dual Core with TFT monitors and all machines are enabled Wi-Fi. The Campus is within the Wi-Fi range of BSNL. BSNL broadband 35 Mbps and internet service is hired. The facility of video monitoring & recording is Setup in Six Labs on trial basis. The institute has also procured ERP software to regulate all the activites online on institution and sanstha level.
Transport Facility: The location of college is nearby 5km from Bus-stop, 5km from Railway Station and 10km from airport. Apart from this our sanstha has a fleet of buses, which are made available to first year hostel students and girl students of all years from hostels to college and back. Local buses also connect the college campus with the main city destinations.
Auditorium: The college has well furnished Auditorium with a seating capacity of 1000+ persons. The Auditorium is equipped with good quality of sound system. Hence suitable for conducting various activity in the auditorium for the students.
