The women's college of education was established in June, 1990 by well known reputed Tapi Valley Education Society, Faizpur.(TVES formed in i960) The college is located in TVE Society's campus namely Nehru Vidyanagar,Faizpur (approximately 36 acres) situated between the two talukas namely Yawal and Raver of Jalgaon District. The TVE Society is running five educational institutions.In the Nehru Vidyanagar the First Session of the Indian National Congress (1936)ever to be held in a rural area under the presidentship of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.The heroes of our National Freedom Movement, Mahatma Ghandhi,Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Sardar Vallabhabhai Patel,Sane Guruji and many others presents the session. Local great freedom fighter Late Dhanaji Nana Chaudhari was the main host of this session.The TVE Society's Hon'ble President Shri Balasaheb Madhukarrao Dhanaji Chaudhari(Ex-speaker Maharastra State Legislative Assembly) is the son of this" personality.
Library: Tapi valley education society’s women’s college of education is established in 1990. At that time library was very small unit having 400 books only. Every year books are being added to library. Now the college library has 7052 books including reference books on various subjects. Library has 118 reference books including 12 encyclopedias. Library is also having collection of books on “Eminent Indian Personalities.”Library is subscribing 29 Journals on education out of those Journals. 19 Journals are in Marathi language & 08 Journals are in English & in Hindi 2 journals are available. Library also subscribes. O2 research Journals. Library is having good collection of CDS also.
Computer Lab: The college has renovated computer laboratory with internet connection facility. The laboratory has personal computers with the latest configurations especially for students.
Teaching Aid Lab: Teaching aids plays an important role in the field of education. These teaching aids are properly use in education field. The education process is very effective meaningful & interesting. This fact is realized in whole world by research. Teaching aids improve the education & create the reality of the education. Teaching process is not complete to use of teaching aids.
