The ICLES’ Motilal Jhunjhunwala, Junior College established in the year 1978 and the Degree College in the year 1984 by India Culture League Education Society under the visionary leadership of charismatic and benevolent Social worker Late. Shri. Amlendyu Roye.The college has been permanently affiliated with the University of Mumbai on March, 29, 2005 in the academic year 2004-2005.The college has received a status of 2(f) and 12(B) from University Grants Commission, New Delhi on March, 21, 2005 in the academic year 2004-2005.
Library: The Library is the powerhouse of knowledge, it not only generates knowledge and information but also energies the minds of the reader. Library is the meeting place of great minds, interacting at the highest level of their intellect; College library is akin to the sun, around which departments are the planets.The Library has the collection of more than 41000 books, 2000 bound volumes of periodicals. In this collection there are a good number of reference sources and noteworthy among them are vast number of dictionaries, encyclopedia Britannica and Mc Graw Hill encyclopedia of Science and Technology of almost all academic subjects. Apart from the above-mentioned collection the library has a good collection on competitive exams, which forms a base for the students aspiring for examinations such as Civil Services (UPSC), MPSC,NEET, CET, GMAT, CAT, SAT etc.
