The Foundation of the Institute was laid in the year 1999 with recognition from AICTE, New Delhi & affiliation with VNSGU, Surat. SRLIM is currently affiliated to Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad. The institute has an intake of 240 students.Sarvajanik Education Society (SES), Surat is a premier education trust established in 1912 with the objective of catering to the educational needs of people in the South Gujarat region. Since its inception SES has widened its wings by providing education ranging from pre-primary to post-graduate level.
