Shree Ambaji Arts College in village Kumbhariya started in 1991 and is now a premier college in Banaskantha District more for tribal and weaker section of society students. The constitution of the Shree Arasuri Ambaji Mata Devasthan Trust , Ambaji is such that the Chairman of the Trust remains the Collector of Banaskatha and there is Dy. Collector of Ambaji Temple Trust to look after routine work. It is permanently affiliated to Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan and recognized by UGC under section 2(f) and 12(b). It imparts education in the subjects of Gujarati, Hindi , Sanskrit as main subjects and Sociology and psychology as subsidiary while there is foundation English compulsory with SCOPE exam facility set up by Society for Creation of Proficiency in English , under taken by Government of Gujarat.
Sports: Ambaji College students has not only secured good marks but also acquired scored well at Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University every year .Sports education today is an integral part of the all round development of the human personality and achieving excellence in sports has great bearing on national prestige and morale. In order to meet the increasing demands of the changing scenario, college , university level , state and national level Shree Ambaji Arts College has taken it upon itself to implement programs to promote excellence in sports education . The sports education is implemented by encouraging students to take part in sports activity and thereby promoting them gradually to inter college and university and state level. In Sports there students who have participated at Inter-Institutional level, University Level; State and National level competition. The institution encourages to participate in sports activities for over all development of individual personality.
Library: The college has library which is fully ventilated and is equipped with books , text books , reference books and has book bank facility for the benefit of students .It is well ventilated and airy with sufficient natural lights. The library has books and journals available for students. The collection is has about 12,000 reference books , text books and it subscribes about 60 periodicals and magazines.
