Scad College of Education, Cheranmahadevi, Tirunelveli is recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Bangalore. It is affiliated to Tamilnadu Teachers Education University, Chennai. The college offers one year B.Ed., Degree Course with an intake of 100 students.

The library at SCAD College of Education is well-stocked with an extensive collection of current 6000 books, over 18 journals and magazines, 46 volumes of Encyclopaedias and 500 reference books.
The library has features an extensive book stock containing reference books, Indian journals and foreign periodicals, lending and offers students reference material in all streams of study.
Hostel Facility
A well furnished hostel is provided to cater the needs of the students, who are accommodated in the hostel blocks with separate boarding facilities for both men and women. Provision is made for vegetarian and non vegetarian food. The rooms are spacious comfortable and hygienic with natural air and light.
