irraj Govt.College (A), Nizamabad was established in the year 1956 in the premises of Quilla under private management. It was affiliated to Osmania University from the time of establishment and continued its affiliations under O.U till 2008. Now the College is affiliated to Telangana University, Dichpally, Nizamabad.The college was named after Sri.Girrajmalji Agarwal who has generously donated Rs.50,001/-for the establishment of this college. The college was taken over by the Government of A.P in 1960. It was shifted to this campus in 1968. The college campus has an area of 27.3 Acres.
