Gaurav College of Education, a constitute College of Mahatma Jyotiba Fule Vidyapeeth Samiti has been growing as a centre of excellence in providing education and training in education field. The college is approved by Government of Rajasthan and is recognized by National Council for Teacher Education & affiliated to University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. The College has adopted fully the minimum standard for Education prescribed by National Council for Teacher Education. The present intake capacity for B.Ed. is 100 students per annum in different subject of Education.
Library: Our computerized library is extensive, well ventilated, and spacious with comfortable seating arrangements. There is well qualified and experienced librarian who manages the library. Every student is provided sufficient books according to his/her need. The library have huge collection of text & reference book, National & International Journals, Mazgenes, CD’s, DVDS, Data cable, Video Cassette. The library has quality Xerox, Clipping, Bibliographic compilation, Reference, Information display and notification, Book Bank, Photocopying, Computer and Printer, Internet, Online access facility, Power back up, User orientation/information literacy.
Computer and Internet Facility: The college has a well equipped computer laboratory with suffcient computers with requisite software. A Wi-Fi network of internet connectivity is available.Laboratory facilities are provided for courses requiring such teaching and for co-curricular activities.The College has Wi-Fi internet access facility for faculty and all students.
Transport: Buses, cars/Ambulance are available with College. However minimum fixed expenses will be charged on cooperative basis from students if they use transport services for out of college units.
Medical Facilities: Samiti has its parental Hospital. A Doctor of Parental Hospital visits the institutes & Hostels twice a month for conducting health check-up of the students and faculty/staff members. In case a need arises for consulting specialists the students/faculty members are referred to the parental hospital, where they are treated free of cost.
Educational Tours: Educational Tours are arranged to visit the institutes and organizations of educational importance so that they can acquaint themselves with the facilities concerning the laboratories and plants.
Hostel Facility
Hostel Facilities Available: Hostel facility is being provided to boys and girls separately at nominal charges which include fooding and lodging. Students are accommodated in spacious, well ventilated rooms provided with all necessary comforts. Each student is provided in residing room with a bed,a locker, a table and a chair.A full time warden is appointed to look after the general cleanliness of the hostel and to see that the students adhere to the rules & regulations. There is a provision of health check-up of the students and faculty,staff members.The students admitted to the college are normally required to live in a hostel if vacancies exist unless given special permission to reside outside. Campus hostels are managed by the Chief Warden with the help of Wardens for each hostel and block Monitor for each block.Transport services are provided from hostel to college and back.
Scholarship Facility
Provides Scholarships: College is adopting the tuition fee waiver scheme initiated by competent authority to ensure that poor and meritorious students will not deprive of quality education. Scholarship & Rebates in fee will also be given by the Social Welfare Department/ other departments to the needy students so that they can continue their education without any obstacles.
