The college stands on the Eastern bank of the Kaldighi which is attributed to Kala Rani, the queen of Bana,a mythological king,referred to in the Mahabharata. It is about 2 kilometers off from Gangarampur Town under the Gangarampur Sub-Division in the district of Dakshin Dinajpur. The surroundings of the college are attractive for the tourists and congenial for imparting of training in a natural environment. Besides, there is a Children’s Park on the other bank of the waterbody. In winter, thousands of migratory birds visit the Kaldighi to add to the charm and attraction of the surrounding areas.
Library and Reading Room: The college has well equipped library and reading room. It has more than 5,560 references and recommended books for the B.Ed. Course. Besides, there are periodicals, journals, weekly and monthly magazines, newspapers, considering the need to keep students abreast with latest development in the field of education, science and technology.

Hostel Facility
Hostel Facilities Available: Separate hostels for boys and girls are available for outstation students in the college campus which is directly under the control of Institution / management.The total intake capacity of both the Hostel is 30 each.
