The College is situated in a picturesque site amid the conducive atmosphere of learning. It is away from the din and bustle of the town life. The scenery of bounteous nature, the open face of the blue vault of heaven, the spacious grassy playground add to the sublime beauty of the college. In the very first day of its inception Kedarnath Das said in his speech “I have just been able to plant a little sapling for the dissemination of education and it has the potentiality of growing into a big tree with full blossom if nourished properly and timely in the years to come”.
Library: Belda College is proud of having an exceedingly enriched library offering enthusiastic students, scopes for expanding their horizons of knowledge providing them with standard books and journals of different disciplines. The library includes about 27,800 books along with 20 journals. The library which is run by skilled staff is also equipped with well furnished reading room facilities. In addition, each Department has their own library for the benefit of students. The library provides computer and internet facilities free of cost to its users.Central library offers access to e-journals and e-books through INFLIBNET.
Seminar Hall: Belda College is equipped with a well furnished and highly garnered Seminar Hall where academic seminars and lectures are arranged at regular intervals. The college also organizes different cultural programmes throughout the year in "Vidyasagar Seminar Hall".
Canteen: Inside the college campus there is a well equipped Canteen wherein students as well as teachers may have their lunch and Tiffin at subsidized price. Under the strict vigilance of college authority, quality of food is rigorously maintained.
Medical Service: There is a well equiped Medical Unit with one part time doctor and nurse in the college where from the students, teachers, and staffs can avail of free medical assistance i their necessity. College is a member of Students Health Home, Kolkata. Students can avail free medical facilities from Regional Centre, Medinipur.
Gymnasium: Providing the learners as well as the employees of the college with a scope to produce a sound health, Belda College can now brag of a highly sophisticated “Multi-Gym” which was inaugurated by the Hon’ble M.P. (L.S.) and renowned social activist , Mr. Suvendu Adhikary.
Hostel Facility
Hostel Facilities Available: The college runs two Boys’ hostels, namely Vivekananda Chatrabas (Old and New). Seats are allotted transparently on a strict merit-cum-distance basis. The construction of Women’s Hostel is on the verge of completion and will be opened soon. Boarders are requested to comply strictly with all the rules and regulations framed by the Hostel Superintendent.
