Shridevi Degree College (SDC), is located in Tumkur, Karnataka is one of the premier UG / PG colleges in Karnataka. Affiliated to Tumkur University, Tumkur, the college has set for itself high benchmarks in imparting education of the highest order. Started in 2006, it's today a name to reckon with and has a blazing track-record to its name in bachelors studies.Shridevi Degree College (SDC) is an institution established in the year 2006 under the auspices of Sri Shridevi Charitable Trust by the founder trustee Dr. M.R. Hulinaykar. The College is progressing rapidly under the able guidance of our founder trustee Dr. M.R. Hulinaykar, who is responsible for establishing and managing successfully about 14 institutions, which include Degree like Paramedical, Nursing, Education, General Graduation, Engineering, Pre-University Course, High Schools, Primary Schools, etc. with nearly 7,000 students and about 1,000 employees. These colleges are established with the motto of placement in various positions and there by serve this great country.
Seminar Hall: SDC maintains a well equipped Seminar Hall, which accommodates 200 persons complete with Video Camera, Slide Projector, LCD, OHP, sound system etc. It proves ideal for place seminars, meetings, workshops, guest lectures, group use of Audio-Visual material etc.
Medical Facility: The trust has well equipped hospital & a diagnostic centre which takes cares any emergency for students medical problems. The students are provided medical treatment with utmost care.
Transportation Facility: The Institution is well connected to different parts of the city by its own buses in which students and staff commutes everyday from various parts of Tumkur city.
Hostel Facility
Hostel Facilities Available: The Institute has separate hostel facilities for strength of 800 boys and 300 girls. The hostels have excellent boarding facilities on expenditure sharing basis. Utmost care is taken to provide hygienic delicious food and water. Strict discipline is maintained in the hostel. There are facilities for Indoor games. The hostels have round the clock generator facility. The hostel is managed by a teacher warden. Every inmate is to conduct himself/herself as per rules and regulations of the Institution. Hostel in timings for girls 6:30 pm & Boys 10:00 pm.
