The Academy of Aviation (AOA) was established in the year 2009. AOA is a part of the prestigious Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal (SVKM) group which was established in the year 1934. Over the past 80 years, the Mandal has developed a large educational complex in Vile Parle, in Suburban Mumbai and has spread its wings to metro cities like, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Navi Mumbai, etc., SVKM today is proud of some of its finest educational institutes in the country like NMIMS deemed to be University, N.M. College of Commerce and Economics, Academy of Aviation, Mithibai College, D.J. Sanghvi College of Engineering, Bhagubhai Mafatlal Polytechnic – to name a few.AOA is situated at Shirpur airport in district Dhule (Maharashtra). Shirpur is connected via NH 3 to Mumbai and Indore.
Transportation: Academy of Aviation provides Air Conditioned transportation for its students between the Hostel and the Academy. We have a dedicated Air conditioned Vehicles that can seat and transport all students with safety and comfort to and from the airport/local shopping centre. The Vehicles also transports students to Shirpur town when required. In addition, free of cost bus facility is available between Campus and Shirpur at regular intervals.
