NMIMS has expanded its base to south India and started their first operations at Bengaluru in 2008. Now it further expanded its base and started operations in Hyderabad in 2010.
The NMIMS Hyderabad campus is at Tarnaka and is easily accessible from the throbbing nerve-centers and IT hubs around the city, like Gachibowli, Hitech City, Madhapur, Shamsabad Airport. It has one five-storied building, fully air-conditioned and well furnished ? harmonizing comforts and aesthetic appeal while conforming to the academic requirements, and is well equipped with state-of-art IT facilities with a secure Internet Connection and Wi-Fi. Adequate space for vehicle parking and Cafeteria have been provided. The campus is a picture of aesthetic functionality.
Blackboard Learning Management System: Students can access the Internet round the clock and the learning resources available on the Campus LMS (Learning Management System) ? Blackboard, to manage the vast knowledge and create an online learning environment. Thus, it makes it possible for the students to access information resources anywhere and at anytime in the campus.
Internet @ 5 mbps (1:1): All members on the intranet have access to Internet 24 hours a day, through 10 mbps Internet Line. The Internet bandwidth will be enhanced every year.
Library: Fully computerized and well stocked Library with over 10000+ books, 119 journals, periodicals and DVDs/ CDs. Library includes not only paper versions, but also electronic versions, CD-ROMs, multimedia and online products, EBSCO, PROWESS and EMERALD data bases.
Learning Rooms: The Learning Rooms are air-conditioned, spacious, well ventilated and in conformity with international standards. Classrooms are Wi-Fi enabled along with audio-visual media and LCD Projectors. A Group Work room equipped with round tables enables participants to discuss in groups and promotes peer discussion and learning.
Conference/MDP-Room: A conference room/ MDP room with a seating capacity of 100 is one of the highlights of the Hyderabad Campus. It has modern facilities to conduct board meetings, campus recruitment, research seminars etc.
Computer Center: Equipped with one server to handle application database and communication.
102 desktops ? 63 for the lab and 39 for the faculty and staff.
Hostel Facility
NMIMS, Hyderabad provides very good hostel facilities. It has acquired quality apartments at Tarnaka which are around 2 kms from the campus. Airy rooms well-furnished with attached bathroom, Internet, refrigerator, laundry facility, filtered drinking water, TV Room, indoor games room, are the features of the hostel.
