Pabitra Mohan Institute of Technology (PMIT) coming up in the commemorating birth centenary year (2007-08) of the freedom fighter and Ex Deputy Chief Minister, Orissa, Late Pabitra Mohan Pradhan, will provide platform to students aspiring to make career in technical education.To cash on the huge demand for skilled manpower created by the big and upcoming industries in the state, PMIT has introduced Diploma courses in Engineering. Equipped with state-of-the-art, modern educational infrastructure, the institute is all set to groom the students into industry ready professionals and help them build a bright future.
Library: We have a well maintained library having huge collection of books covering all the subjects apart from innumerable journals, business magazines and periodicals to help our students update their knowledge about ongoing developments. There are also other technical journals in Science and Engineering subjects.
Workshops: PMIT is equipped with a fully functioning workshop. Workshop is the heart of the mechanical department and it covers an area of 4000 sq.ft. with machine shop. carpentry shop. foundry shop. welding shop. fitting shop and blacksmith shop. The practical works are managed by experienced faculty to create dynamic students needed by the present industry.
