The college is ranked as one of the Best Engineering Colleges of JNTUA. Ananthapuramu.SREC is situated on NH-40, 12 KM away from Nandyal, Kurnool Dist. Andhra Pradesh. It is a learning abode for 1600+ Students. The Campus is pollution free and its serene environment is ideally suited for academic activities. Our goal is to produce Engineers and Managers who can contribute to the progress of the Nation and the World through excellent Scientific, Technical Innovations and Research Activities.
Library: In every college or University Library takes the role of knowledge hub for students and staff so the perfect collection of books will make a perfect library that suites to the needs of the aspirants. The Central Library in SREC plays an important role in the life and career of students. It is computerized, well spaced and provided with all the facilities reaching the students’ needs. The Digital library facilitates the Students and Faculty to access a number of Journals and Magazines online.The college library housed in an area of about 620 sq.m., is a nerve center of activity. It has a collection of 2895 titles & 19958+ volumes & it subscribes to 125+ journals (national & International) besides a number of dailies & periodicals. The library has a seating capacity of 120 members and works from 8 AM to 8 PM.
Sports Facility: Sports and games balance a person’s physical and mental status. A psychologically and physically healthy individual can face all kind of challenges come in line of career as well as life. SREC has its own identity nationally and internationally in sports and games too. There are many sports and games feathers in SREC’s cap.
Hostel Facility
Hostel Facilities Available: SREC provides excellent Hostel Facility for Boys as well as Girls individually. Spacious rooms with attached bathrooms are available. Well connected to the transport area; excellent facilities for dining and sports areas are the most advantageous thing to the students.
Placement Service Available: A separate Training & Placement wing exists for outgoing students for placements and higher studies (In India & Abroad), along with soft skills Training & Entrepreneur development training. Many of our students have already been placed in organisations such as Infosys, Wipro, Satyam, IBM, Syntel, CTS, L&T Infotech, Dolcera Etc.A Full fledged Training & Placement Cell headed by a Professor assisted by Coordinators from each department and a computer operator with internet facility.
