Govindram Seksaria Science (familiar as GSS) College is known for quality education and the all-round development of students. The College regards itself as an academic community where scholars, both students and teachers, have the freedom and responsibility to communicate, imbibe and enlarge mankind's store of knowledge. It stands for academic excellence and endeavors to create an environment, which generates love for learning, habits of critical thought and effective communication. The college thereby aims to equip its students with an intellectual, social and ethical outlook that will make them productice members of society. Our effort in this direction has been appreciated by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), which awarded 'GRADE A' to our institution in September 2009 after re-accreditation. The college has been recognized as a 'College with Potential for Excellence' by the UGC.
Library: The Library is one of the finest that any college campus can hope to possess. The Library is situated in an ideal building, adequately equipped with specially designed furniture which caters to the needs of students and staff of GSS College. The study halls in the ground and first floor, only dedicated to students, are spread over 1216.269 Sq. Meters. These halls can nearly accommodate 310 students. Students can use library facilities from 7.30 am to 5.30 pm and till 8.00 pm during exam time.
Gym: There is a Multi-speciality - Gym where many students can perform weight training at the same time. Other accessories required for weight training are also available. An instructor is present to help students in using the instruments. Students and staff are encouraged to use this facility. A nominal fee is charged for students.
Play Ground: We believe that intellectual acumen must be accompanied by physical fitness and hence has traditionally supported sports and games. The campus has a large playground covering nearly 8.14 acres. The ground has a turf cricket pitch along with nets and two cement pitches for practice, a kho-kho court, and is suitably marked for hockey and football matches. The eight lane tracks for athletics, basketball court, netball court, handball court, along with mini stadium.

Placement Service Available: The college Placement Cell was constituted in the year 2005. Since then the Cell has always sincerely tried to improve the employment of the college students. In this regards, the Cell has conducted various campus interviews from reputed companies like Wipro Technologies, TCS, Larsen &Toubro, Thermax Engineering, Wipro BPO, IBM etc. Also, the Cell regularly conducts the events such as motivational talks, soft skill enhancement programmes, etc to the benefit of students. Many students have gained the benefits of campus interviews and the talks. The Cell also partnered with ANTZ Corporation, Hyderabad, to conduct the NSDC course of Central Government which was a huge success. The Cell pledges to further enhance the job opportunities to the students in the future.
