Library: There are three well equipped libraries, one for the Engg., Second one exclusively for the Management students and third for polytechnic students. There are more than 32,000 books purchased from the reputed publishers along with a large number of magazines and National/International journals and Newspapers. Both the libraries are “E-Libraries” and have the facility of e-books and e-journals.
Transport: Catering to a large number of day-scholars, college runs a fleet of buses for the convenience of its students and faculty. Students are charged a subsidized transportation fee for this facility. Institute has 3 buses which covers several routes in Gurdaspur.
Conference Hall: All the three air-conditioned conference halls which have ultra modern furniture, multimedia LCD Projectors with Audio-Video aids for presentations.
Auditorium: The newly built auditorium of our Institute is fitted with high quality modern furniture, latest equipment like PA system, multimedia LCD, WI-FI, Internet facility, Audio-Visual aids etc.
Wifi Campus: The students in the campus have access to high speed wi-fi connectivity to internet. This helps them access online class lectures and assignments posted by teachers and instructions issued by the Campus. Institute provides 64Mbps of lease line to students to access Internet. The coverage of Wi-Fi is not restricted to classrooms only but also extends to common areas like Auditorium, Library, Cafeteria, Guest House, Sports Complex and Hostels.
Play Ground: Along with wide variety of clubs and societies contributing to Golden Institutes’ lively life, we have a fine tradition in sports. We have earned a reputation for success in intercollegiate competitions and tournaments, sometimes teaming up with other graduate colleges. We provide indoor and outdoor sports facilities including athletics, badminton, football, volleyball, table tennis, basketball, cricket, hockey etc. Students participate in Sports with great enthusiasm. A new gymnasium has come up in the institute with most modern equipment so that students can work out in the evening and gain freshness.
Hostel Facility
Hostel Facilities Available: Hostelers are expected to display good manners and civilized form of behavior, maintain discipline and decorum in the hostel complex.Smoking is strictly prohibited in the hostel complex.Possession, distribution and consumption of alcoholic beverages, prohibited drugs, chewable tobacco in the hostel complex is prohibited.Parties, social or political gatherings in the hostel complex are not permitted.Hostel can not be opted for less than 1 Full Academic Session.
