Rama Devi Mahila Teacher – Training Collage (R.D.M.T.T.C) is established to promote the subjects of women education. The college is in action since 2006. R.D.M.T.T.C. is promoted by Rama Devi Memorial Charitable Trust, Shyampura (Nua), Jhunjhunu. The ambience of college campus is open and peaceful. It covers 30 acres land that was allotted by Government of Rajasthan to enhance the cause of women education. The trust is very keen to uplift the position of women is the society. The chief motto is to provide the quality education for multidimensional development of girls so that they can complete at the global standard.
Library & Reading Room: The library has reach collection of books of all the subjects, Journal’s Periodical, Magazines and News-Papers. Apart from academic books, the books of general interest are also a part of collection. The library has got 7120 text books and 1500 reference books, 13 Magazines and Periodicals and 4 Newspapers. The. The library covers 1746 Sqft. Area. It is very spacious, airy and well furnished. The Library also have 14 journals including 13 Indian and 1 foreign journal. There are 3 back volumes of journals and 1 Peer reviewed journal.
Computer Lab: The computer center of the college is matchless. It is well equipped with modern hardware and software. There are 40 computers including Pentium-III and Pentium-IV in computer lab. Broad band Internet facility is also an add to this section.
Class Rooms: There are 6 class rooms and 3 Tutorial rooms. The rooms are well ventilated, well lighted and provided with self sufficient furniture.
Psychology Lab: Psychology Laboratory consists a number of Psychology instruments and all the basic material such as Sequin Form Board Test, Galeton Bar Apparatus, Color Presence Apparatus, Human Maze Pointed (Elect.), Steadiness tests (Elect.) Attention Board Elect., Mirror Drawing Apparatus, Adolescent Adjusting scale etc.
Educational Technology Lab: Educational technology laboratory of the institution is well modern apparatus and facilities like LCD Projector, OHP.TV, VCDs, and Public address system etc.
Home-Science Lab: Home-Science Lab is also like others labs well equipped with sufficient instruments like: Dinner-set, Glass-Set, Tea-Set, Kukar, Oven, Spoon-Stand, Mixture-Grinder, Bowls, Jug, Non-Stick, Tawa, Tray, Kalcchi, Gas-Chula (Cylinder), Swing-Machine, Freeze, Table-Mates etc.
Science Lab: Separate Chemistry Biology-Laboratories are made available by the institution to develop better practical skill in student teachers. The laboratories are fully equipped.
Multipurpose Hall: Various literary activities like debate competition, essay competition, quiz competition are organized in the multipurpose hall, which has got sitting capacity of more than 250 persons.
Hostel Facility
Hostel Facilities Available: The institution has an excellent hostel for girls within the campus. All rooms are double seated and well furnished with inbuilt beds, mattresses, tables and chairs. Students of all discipline share space and live together in the hostel providing excellent environment conducive to living, learning and growing one’s fullest potential offering adequate comforts with cost effective living for strengthening socialization at all levels. The hostel rooms have shared common room facilities having regular uninterrupted electric supply supplemented by power backup through its own high power generators, abundant supply of hot and cold water, dining hall and entertainment room. The boarders are shown movie on weekend and for their entertainment, a T.V. Set along with TATA SKY dish, DVD players is placed in the common room under the supervision of a resident warden who maintains medical, academic and personal progress record of individual boarder.
