Gaur Brahman Educational Institutions, running under the aegis of Gaur Brahman Vidya Pracharini Sabha (Regd.) Rohtak were initially headed by Late Sh. Pt.Bhagwat Dayal Sharma, the first Chief Minister of Haryana.To perpetuate the memory and carry forward the mission, the devout established in 1919, the‘ Gaur Brahman Vidya Pracharini Sabha’with the main objectives of imparting education to this area.The guiding principles of Sabha, all through the years, have been the assimilation of the fundamental values of Indian culture blended with new scientific thoughts and technology suited to changing modern times.
Science Lab: Science is the knowledge which is explored through experimental verification of facts in nature. Hence natural science can only be thought by testing, experimenting, demonstrating with the proper skill development.To achieve this goal our institute is well equipped with all necessary equipments with which all these objectives can be fulfilled smoothly and effectively particularly in the field of Physical science and Life science.The lab encompasses a large collection of scientific apparatus, equipments, chemicals and educational aids to develop scientific temper and critical thinking in students.Apparatus are issued by the students for their demonstration lessons and skill in teaching.
Pyschology Lab: We have a psychology lab that trains the students in applying the knowledge of principles of educational psychology and techniques to facilitate optimum development of integrated personality.It provides First-hand experience to students teachers in conducting psychological aspects applicable to class room teaching-learning situations.The college has well equipped Psychology Lab with all the necessary experimental materials, psychological tests and instruments required to carry out psychological testing of various personality traits.
Health and Physical Education Resource Center: To fulfill the objective of all round development of students, various sports and other physical development activities are organized in the college. Participation in games and sports develop the spirits of healthy competition and sportsmanship values in students.The college has well maintained playgrounds for outdoor games like cricket, basketball, volleyball and football etc.with a standard track of 400m to practice athletic events for the physical well-being of the students and also to install the spirit of competition amongst them.Indoor games like Table- Tennis, Carom and chess etc. provide a platform to channelize the mental energy of the students.Besides the sports facilities, yoga education has also been introduced as a subject for pupil teachers and so yoga exercises are regularly practiced to ensure the physical, mental and spiritual potential of the students.
Placement Service Available: The Placement Cell of the college aimed at wholesome development of the students.Through the cell activities, students are guided to prepare their resumes and to face the interviews.Counseling sessions are organized by the faculty for personality development of the students.Students are given guidance to appear in entrance exams like HTET, CTET etc.For the post of TGT/PGT in different subjects by the faculty members.The cell gives vital information and guidance to the students regarding their career and tried to establish contact between the employment institution and the students.The cell helps the students to choose right career opportunities so that every student can get a job opportunity according to his/her aptitude.Information regarding various competitive exams as well as job opportunities is provided by the cell in order to update the students about scope of career and a better future. Cell organizes seminars/workshops/ lectures in the college on regular basis.
