Annamacharya College of Education, an unaided institution was started on 08-05-2003 with an intake of 100 students and has been continuously functioning with high quality faculty, library and infra structural facilities. Later we started M.Ed in 2006, later in 2007 D.El.Ed courses were started. The B.Ed, M.Ed Programmes are affiliated to Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupathi, A.P. From 2010 onwards affiliation is changed to Yogivemana University, Kadapa, A.P. The D.El.Ed is affiliated to Director of School Education, Govt. A.P.The college is located in pleasant locality which is nearer to Thallapaka, the birth place of “The singing saint Annamacharya” on Chennai-Mumbai highway and well connected by road and train. It is about 5kms from Rajampet town and 55 Kms by road from Kadapa. The nearest Railway station is at Rajampet.
