The Department of Microbiology strives to educate students about the exciting world of microorganisms and the research involving microorganisms in day-to-day activities with a team of enthusiastic and dedicated teaching faculty.
The faculty are highly qualified, with consistent research involvement. They upgrade their knowledge through enhancement of academic qualifications, paper presentations in conferences, publications and curriculum development. They orient students regularly towards higher studies, research and placements. The faculty as apart of their responsibilities also counsel the students with moral values of life with holistic approach. They also encourage students towards participation in several inter-class and inter-collegiate co-curricular activities
The department has a good consistent performance with respect to academics, art & culture, Value based education, research inculcation and has contributed enormously for the growth of the college since its inception.
