Institute of Technology & Management (SSBES’ ITM), Nanded, was established in the year 1997. The Institute received an approval of Government of Maharashtra, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi & is affiliated to Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathawada University, Nanded. The Institute offers two postgraduate programmes viz. MCA and MBA and three Graduate programmes viz. BCA, BBA, B.Sc. (Hospitality Studies). The institute is situated in the heart of Nanded City.Institute of Technology and Management is committed to prepare skilled software and management professionals with high promise to act with determination, judgment and integrity in the responsible positions of leadership in the complex global business environment and who are dedicated to offer their services to various companies, society, humanity and nation.The establishment of such infrastructure was made possible due to generosity of Late Hon. Dr. Shankarraoji Chavan (Ex. Home Minister of India), founder President of Shri Sharda Bhavan Education, Society, Nanded. The Institute is making its progress under the noble guidance of Hon. Ashok Shankarraoji Chavan (Ex-Chief Minister, Maharashtra State), President of Shri Sharda Bhavan Education, Society, Nanded, Hon. Mrs. Amita Ashokraoji Chavan, Vice President of Shri Sharda Bhavan Education Society, Nanded and Hon. D.P. Savant, Secretary of Shri Sharda Bhavan Education Society, Nanded.
Computer Lab: There are three with state -of-the-art hardware and up-to-date software facilities lab in the college with computer terminals and Internet facilities for the students and teachers. These labs are also equipped with teaching aids such as LCD Projectors and Scanners aim to satisfy the needs of the teaching, research and administration functions of the College. The College wants all its students to be acquainted with modern learning aids and arming its students with a solid academic and technical background.Our lab facilities adequately support the needs of our students, faculty and administration staff and enhance the quality and reliability of the students' educational experience.The College has a distributed computing environment, which provides high speed connection to appropriate services and Internet through a number of high performance local area networks (LAN) using a high-speed backbone. The entire college campus is Wi-Fi enabled.
Library: Library has an excellent collection of Text books, Reference books, periodicals and other study materials. It has also good collection of UG and PG student’s Project reports, Dissertations & Journal’s bound volumes. The library also holding NPTL video lectures & technical CD ROMs. N-List e-journal is accessible to the staff & students. The library is open for six days of the week from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p. m. and during Examination & study preparation period it extend up to midnight. The Library offers tea and snacks to the students attending night library. Book lending period is 08 days. One reference book apart from their regular books is issued to every student to increase reading habit.
Seminar Hall: A multi-purpose well furnished and ventilated seminar hall is equipped with LCD Projector, Multimedia Computer, Audio Systems, etc.
Sports Facility: The students have all the facilities for games and sports. Adequate infrastructures are provided for indoor and outdoor games and extra-curricular activities.
Classroom: Each section of students has separate classrooms and facilities as per the norms of the AICTE and University.Class rooms are well furnished and ventilated. Audio visual Class Room is provided with all teaching aids, LCD Projector, DVD, Multimedia Computer, Audio Systems, White Boards etc., in order to ensure overall development of students.
Medical facilities: College has well equipped first –aid facilities for the student and staff.
House Keeping Lab: The College has fully equipped professional housekeeping Lab. One of the reasons of housekeeping lab is "Cleanliness and hygiene". Under the guidance of the faculty for Housekeeping, students are trained in the maintenance and functioning of the Hotel Guest Rooms
Canteen Facility: Comfortable canteen is available and open during College hours. The canteen is the hub of out-of-class discussions and exchange of information. Equipped with all the necessary kitchen facilities, it serves snacks, soft drinks and lunch students and staff.Kitchen and Restaurant Laboratories: The College has fully equipped professional kitchen and restaurant laboratories that are used for practical cookery and food and drinks serving sessions. Classes held in these facilities give students the opportunity to train in real life situations. Students learn all the practical areas of food production and service such as kitchen layout and design, menu planning, purchasing, issuing orders, storage, sanitation, stewarding, and dining room management.
During classes students are separated into groups and teaching takes place with the use of role-playing. In many cases College staff, students and friends of the College are invited as customers and students practice their skills under real life conditions. Students often have the opportunity to experience the setting-up and servicing of special functions using these facilities, thus gaining invaluable experience. Finally, during summer vacation periods, Hotel Management students undertake paid employment in the thriving hotel industry of Nanded and surrounding areas, thus supplementing their education with additional hands-on experience in a very competitive environment.
CCTV Facility: The entire college campus is in the CCTV surveillance.
Purified Drinking Water Facility: College provides purified drinking water facilities for the health of students and staff.
Fire Safety Facility: Fire safety is the set of practices intended to reduce the destruction caused by fire.
Fire safety measures include those that are intended to prevent ignition of an uncontrolled fire, and those that are used to limit the development and effects of a fire after it starts.
Solar Garden Lights: The solar panel converts sunlight during the day time and recharge the battery. At night the light turns on automatically. This reduces the electricity consumption.
