MPS Shiksha Mahavidyalaya run by “Thakur Sube Singh Ji Jankalyan ShikshaPrasar Samiti” was started in a rural place at Baraua village, which is border area of Morena and Gwalior District of Madhya Pradesh. MPS College is a Quality teacher education institution in an area which is educationally and economically backward and it makes teaching learning process really challenging for us. College is recognized by NCTE (WRC),Bhopal and affiliated to Jiwaji University, Gwalior. The main campus is 14 Kms. away from Gwalior city, 22Kms. from Morena, 96 Kms from Agra and 336 Kms from New Delhi. Nearest Railway station is Gwalior. Whereas nearest Airport is Maharajpura which is 30 Kms from the campus.
Library: There is a central Library attached to the College having an exhaustive collection of 11492 books and 26 Journals including some of the rarest books in Ayurveda. The Library is in the process of digitalization. The Library has also attached broadband internet facilities for the use of students and teaching faculties. Space is provided for the review of current National and International Journals. In addition to the Central Library, all the departments are provided with department libraries.From 1995-96 academic year onwards, Book Bank Scheme has been implemented in the College Library exclusively for Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe students with the financial assistance from the Government of India, Ministry of Welfare. Almost all the fundamental books for the course have been provided in the book bank.
Sports Facility: Sports builds endurance and fitness. Our college has a playground within the college campus which is large enough for outdoor games like football, hockey and cricket also for various track and field events.The medium sized gymnasium of the college provides the student with much needed physical exercise as well as indoor games such as table tennis, chess and carom.
Hostel Facility
Hostel Facilities Available: Separate hostels for boys and girls are provided in the campus for boarding facilities.
