DPG Group was established in 2004 on a sprawling campus spread over 23 acres.. The Group had set up its first institute as DPG Chaudhary Partap Singh Memorial Trust (CPSM) for B.Ed. & D.Ed. The institute is approved by NCTE, Jaipur and affiliated to MDU, Rohtak. With three years of excellence in the field of education, this group in 2007 went ahead to open second institute as DPG Polytechnic to award diploma to the students in Gurgaon. Having established itself and providing quality education, the group came up with DPGITM Engineering College in 2011, affiliated to MDU, Rohtak, providing technical education to students in Haryana. In 2015, this group introduced DPG Degree College.The Trust members of DPG Institute of Technology and Management (DPGITM) are academicians and seasoned professionals with an experience of almost two decades in the field of higher education in India. DPGITM campus is located in Gurgaon, the district Head-quarter of Haryana and one of the major Corporate Hub of the Northern Capital Region (Delhi-NCR).
Library: Libraries play a very important part in promoting the progress of knowledge. Thus DPGITM centrally air conditioned library also acquires a prominent place among the students and faculty. Constructed in a total area of 600 sq. ft. DPGITM central library has a seating capacity of more than 100 students and contains over 25321 volumes of publications including books, standards, reports, proceedings and more than 70 National and International journals in the fields of Computer, Electronic and Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology and Management, etc.
Medical Room: The college has appointed Specialists and Super specialists as visiting consultants.RADIX Hospital is empanelled as Official Hospital at a distance of 4 km.24 hours indoor/outdoor medical facilities are available at RADIX hospital.Common pathological tests like blood, urine, ECG etc are available.Ambulance of the hospital and the college transport vehicles are available for emergency.
Transport Facility: For the convenience of the students, staffs the college also provide bus Facility. DPGITM boasts of a Fleet of over 12 buses. Those Interested to avail the bus facility shall register their wards name at the time of admission. Every registration is for year. A Teacher coordinator is appointed for each bus, to ensure the safety and security of the students. The college shall make efforts for regular and punctual bus service. The buses originate from Delhi, Gurgaon, Pataudi, Bhiwadi and Rewari, Faridabad everyday as per academic schedule.
Sports Facility: To promote sportsmanship among the students, our college has created excellent infrastructural facilities for sports. The sport department of DPGITM is committed to develop cardio respiratory fitness, general motor ability, differential ability, quick decision ability, quick judgment ability, quick reflex action and decreased movement time. The department preserves & develops physical, intellectual, moral power of the human being and quality of life at national and quality of life at international level. The sports department of DPGITM provides opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to participate in a variety of sports and recreational activities. The coordinator of sport department is responsible for organizing, funding, regulating, and scheduling activities like games, sports fest, intercollegiate competitions etc.
Hostel Facility
Hostel Facilities Available: Every effort has been made at the DPGITM to provide the best facilities for students who live on campus. The hostels are well constructed keeping in mind the peaceful and comfortable environment that the students need. Separate hostels are provided for girls and boys inside the campus. The boys hostels have the capacity to comfortably accommodate over 100 students and girls hostels have the capacity to comfortably accommodate over 50 students. Students are provided with adequate facilities to make them feel at home. All the rooms have been designed to provide adequate moving space and ample air and light. Every room is equipped with an individual AC with not more than 3 occupancies. And each room is provided with 3 sets of bed, chair, table, small cupboard and electrical fittings. A recreation hall with facilities for indoor games like chess, carom encourages students to make good use of their leisure time. One L.C.D TV per block is also provided.
