Institute of Aeronautics & Engineering is established in 2002 and approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India. Institute is located in Bhopal and functions on a mission of serving the Indian and global aviation industry by providing excellent and talented aviation professionals. Workshops and Labs We are having different workshops and labs related to aircraft technology in our campus for a practical demonstration to our students. Jet Engine Lab Piston Engine Lab Airframe Shop Electrical Lab Instrument Lab Radio Lab Battery Shop Machine Shop Welding shop Computer Lab Computers have become important in college education because they provide quick access to information and skill sets that might take much longer to acquire using traditional methods. Keeping this in mind at IAE we established the 3 most modern Computer Labs with high-speed internet facilities. Industrial Tie-ups Providing skilled talents for today’s aviation industry is one of the prime missions of the Institute of Aeronautics & Engineering and collaboration is the best way to bridge the gap between theoretical education and Practical learning in a real environment. IAE is proud to have Air India, Go First, Indo Copters, Sha-Shib Flying Academy, GMR, and International Aircraft Sales Pvt. Ltd. as their legal Training Partners, where students get skilled and get trained from time to time under Experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineers.
 
 Scholarship Facility
Sha-Shib Scholarship and Aptitude Test (SSAT 2023) is promoted by the Sha-Shib Group of Institutions, the Largest Group in South Asia for imparting training in the field of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering is a national-level entrance test being conducted for admission in various courses in the aviation industry like Commercial Pilot License (CPL), Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME), Cabin Crew/ Airhostess, Ground Staff etc. and other major courses in engineering and arts domain, run by the institutes under Sha-Shib Group. This exam is conducted with a motive to identify the deserving candidate for admission in the courses opted by them and to provide scholarships in case they get selected. The scholarships provided by Sha-Shib Group are for the courses run at its different campuses, across India.

Placement Assistance IAE has a Dedicated Training and Placement Cell that helps students to know about the Aviation Industry they are getting into. It guides students for work placement and allows them to launch their careers once they acquire the license in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering after passing all the module examinations mentioned in CAR-66. We are the only Institute in India to have an In-house Practicals and Placements facility in our own 5 Maintenance Repair and Overhaul and 1 Flying Club.
