1 .	Bachelor in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (BASLP)
	Eligibility 1. Admission to B.ASLP is open to candidates who have passed the 2-year Pre-University examination conducted by the Pre-University Board of the State of Karnataka or any other examination (10+2) considered as equivalent thereto by the University of Mysore. 2. Candidates who have obtained a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST) in the PCMB group or combinations thereof, in their II PUC or qualifying examination are eligible for admission. 3. Only those candidates who have studied at least three subjects from among Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Mathematics / Computer Science / Statistics / Electronics / Psychology are eligible for admission.

	Other Details Mode of selecion : An all India entrance examination will be conducted by the All India Institute of Speech & Hearing for admission to the B.ASLP program at various centres. All students except those applying under the foreign quota, will have to write the entrance examination in 3 of the 4 subjects, i.e., Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and either Biology or Mathematics. For further details, please see AIISH Entrance Examination leaflet. For foreign candidates, the selection is made on the basis of marks in the science subjects in the qualifying examination, subject to meeting eligibility requirements and equivalence criteria of University of Mysore. Candidates who appeared for qualifying examination outside India will be considered only under Foreign category and will not be entertained for Entrance Examination mode

2 .	Bachelor of Education (B.Ed. Hearing Impaired)
	Eligibility 1) Admission to B.Ed. Spl. Ed. (HI) is open to candidates who have passed any degree examination of the University of Mysore or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the University of Mysore. 2) Candidates should have obtained a minimum of 50% marks either in Bachelors Degree and/or in the Masters degree in Sciences / Social Sciences /Humanities, Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the program. 3) 5% of marks relaxation for SC/ST/PWD categories.

	Other Details Mode of Selection : The marks obtained in the qualifying examination will be considered for selection of candidates. In case oftie, older candidates will be placed at higher merit position.

3 .	M.Sc Audiology
	Eligibility 1. BASLP / B.Sc. (Speech & Hearing) degree from the University of Mysore or any other University / Institute considered as equivalent. 2. An average of not less than 55% of marks or Equivalent CGPA in the qualifying examination. 3. Candidates with a B.ASLP of the, considered as equivalent thereto from all recognized Institute [Note: “Average” refers to the average of the aggregate marks of all the years/semesters in UG. As per the latest guidelines issued by the UOM, in case a candidate has taken more than the normal duration prescribed to pass the degree examination, 3% of marks in the aggregate percentage is deducted for each extra year that the candidates has taken to pass the degree examination]. 4. The program should be approved by Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), excluding Institutes of National Importance and Foreign programs. 5. 5% of marks relaxation for SC/ST/PWD categories.

4 .	M.Sc Speech Language Pathology
	Eligibility 1. BASLP / B.Sc. (Speech & Hearing) degree from the University of Mysore or any other University / Institute considered as equivalent. 2. 	Other Details Mode of selection :An entrance examination based on the B.ASLP syllabus of RCI will be conducted at various centres for the selection of candidates. Admission shall be made only on the basis of the marks obtained in the entrance examination conducted by the Institute for this purpose.

5 .	Master of Education (Hearing Impaired) M.Ed. (HI)
	Eligibility 1) Candidate who has successfully passed B.Ed. Spl. Ed. (HI) degree of the University of Mysore or any B.Ed. (HI) recognized by RCI of any other University considered as equivalent thereto with an average of not less than 50% of marks in the qualifying examination are eligible. At the time of admission, student should produce Degree Certificate as per the University of Mysore guidelines with RCI registration. 2) Candidate who has successfully passed the B.Ed. General course and as successfully completed Diploma in Education Special Education (HI) recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India with minimum 50% marks in each program. 3) A student with B.A/B.Sc./B.Com. B.Ed.Spl.Ed.(HI) (4 years integrated). 4) Candidate should have valid RCI registration.

6 .	Ph.D. Speech and Hearing
	Eligibility For Ph.D. (Speech and Hearing), the candidates must have passed M.Sc. (Aud.) / M.Sc. (SLP) / M.Sc. (Sp. & Hg.) / MASLP / M.ASLP degree examination of theUniversity of Mysore or any other examination considered equivalent thereto by the University of Mysore, with a minimum of 55% (50% in the case of SC/ST and candidatesfrom SAARC countries).

	Eligibility 1. Candidates should have passed M.Sc. (SLP) / M.Sc. Candidates should have passed the entrance examination for Ph.D. conducted by the All India Institute of Speech and Hearing, Mysore, as per the Ph.D. regulations of University of Mysore.
