The KMCH College of Occupational Therapy was established in the year 1995 as a unit of the Kovai Medical Center Research and Educational Trust. The College of Occupational Therapy is recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu and is affiliated to the T.N. Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai. It is also recognized by the All India Occupational Therapists Association (AIOTA) and World Federation of Occupational Therapy (WFOT) the licensing body for Occupational therapist's, which gives added advantage to the graduates of KMCHCOT to study and work anywhere in India and abroad.

	Eligibility A candidate applying for the BOT degree, should have passed the Higher Secondary (10 + 2), or an equivalent examination (as recognized by the Tamilnadu Dr. MGR Medical University) with not less than 50% marks in Biology, Physics and Chemistry
	Duration 4 & 1/2 years
	Admission Procedure Admissions are made through a common entrance examination conducted by the Tamilnadu government and as per the Government guidelines existing at the time of admissions.
