In the year 1966-67, College started with a Diploma course in pharmacy. Our College is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, approved by State Government, P.C.I and A.I.C.T.E Our college is located in Raichur city, which is a district head quarters with about three-lakh population.It is well connected by rail and road. It is on Delhi – Bangalore, Mumbai-Madras, Ahmedabad – Bangalore, railway main line.It is around 200 k.m. from Hyderabad.

Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) | Diploma in Pharmacy (DPharm) | Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm)

1 .	Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
	Eligibility Minimum requirements for admission to the Bachelor Course in Pharmacy are as follows: Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Biology in any of the following examinations : 1] Candidates should have passed the 2 year P.U.C.Examination of Karnataka. P.U.C. Board or an equivalent examination of any other approved Board or university with minimum 50% marks in any combination comprising Physics, Chemistry, Maths (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry, Biology(PCB) or Physics, Chemistry, Maths & Biology. 2] In the case of SC/ST, group-A the minimum requirement in percentage of marks for the admission to B.Pharm course shall be 40% in combination. Or 3] Final D.Pharm examination conducted by an authority approved by the Pharmacy council of India with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in all subjects of Final D.Pharm

	Admission Procedure Selection: On the basis of merit in the qualifying exam

2 .	Diploma in Pharmacy (DPharm)
	Eligibility Minimum requirements for admission to the Diploma Course in Pharmacy are as follows: For gaining admission into the course the student needs to pass with Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Biology in any of the following examinations : 1] Intermediate examination in Science 2] The first year of the three year degree course in Science 3] 10+2 examination (academic stream) in Science 4] Pre-degree examination or PUC (Pre- university Course) 4] PCM/PCB/PCMB or Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.
	Duration 2 years duration with minimum of 180 working days per year followed by a practical training not less than 500 hours covered in around 3 months.

3 .	Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm)
	Eligibility The requirement for admission is a B.Pharm from any recognised university of India with a minimun of 55% marks (aggregate of 4 years).For SC/ST Category-I candidates, the prescribed percentage of marks will be 50% of the maximun marks in the qualifying examinations. Further, Pharmacy teachers having recognised B.Pharma qualification and with minium of 5 years of teaching experience in an institution approved ay AICTE and PCI will be eligible provided they have scored not less than 50% of the maxinum marks (Aggreate of 4 years).
