Sipajhar B.Ed. College, Sipajhar was established in 1994. To do the necessary works for the establishment of the college a sponsoring body was formed with Sri Bhadreswar Nath as president and Sri Badan Chandra Saikia as the secretary and in due course the college was inaugurated on September 22, 1994 with due permission of Gauhati University. Thus Sipajhar B.Ed College came into existence in 1994. Dr. Zoiinath Sarma, the then MLA of Sipajhar Constituency extended his valuable help and co-operation in obtaining the permission of the university of Guwahati for opening the college. The College obtained NCTE recognition during session 1999-2015. NCTE Registration Number (APE00314). The College has obtained affiliation to the University of Guwahati from the session 1999-2000 onwards. The founder Secretary of the college was Sri Badan Chandra Saikia and continued his service till July 31, 1999 and then Sri Rajani Kanta Nath was given the charge of the secretary and he has been performing his duties as a secretary till now.

1. Library : The College has a full fledged library enriched with 3500 books and a specious reading hall.
2. ICT Laboratory: There is a full-fledged ICT room with 25 Computers having sufficient opportunity to train the teacher trainees an also to acquaint them with fundamental knowledge of Computer. A qualified Teacher is appointed to offer training to the Teacher Trainees.
3. Psychological Laboratory: The College has a Psychological Laboratory having necessary equipments such as Memory Drum, Mirror Drawing Apparatus, Punch Board, Learning Apparatus, Stop Watch etc. to test the deferent abilities of the Teacher Trainees. It also provides deferent Psychological charts, Pictures, and Models for the benefit of the Trainees.
4. Technological Laboratory: The College is well furnished with hi-tech equipments to offer training to the Teacher trainees in new methods and techniques of teaching. The Laboratory is well equipped with TV, Computers, LCD Projector, Tape Recorder, Radio, Charts and Educational CD/DVD.
