Guardian Angel Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology founded in the year 1997 by Pilar Fathers and is run by Xaverian Education Society of the Goa Province of the Society of Pilar. It is a Christian Religious Minority Educational Institution Vide F. No. 246 OF 2008/30777 and is governed by Article 30 [1] of the Constitution of India.
The service training restaurant is a fully air conditioned room, with a seating capacity of 32 covers. Here the students are trained to understand the fundamentals of service of food and beverage and to pay attention to guest’s needs and deal with various situations that one could encounter during service practice. The restaurant houses a mock bar; training the students in the art of conjuring delicious cocktails, gueridon service and other concoctions.
The library is housed in one of the wings of our college building. It is a treasure house of knowledge, past and present. It is so, because the world mighty brains are represented there through their work. One can find books on different subjects. A number of dailies and magazines are regularly received. One has free access to the books stacked on shelves and in cupboards. Our Library is a place for intellectual work in our college.
