St Cyril’s College, the pioneer institution of higher education managed by Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church, came into existence in 1981 as a result of the prayers and relentless labour of a group of visionaries and Late Lamented His Holiness Mathews II who saw that social and economic progress of a heterogenous community is possible only through intellectual and spiritual enlightenment.
Library: The college library is always ready to cater the needs of the students who want to seek knowledge outside the classroom. A total number of 11452 books, 12 journals, periodicals, newspapers etc. have been stalked in the library so that the students who are coming from remote places, where there are no libraries, could make use of this opportunity. This library serves as a knowledge repository to the budding creativity of student community.
Computer Lab : The college computer lab is run and maintained by the Department of Commerce. At present there are 12 computers and Commerce students make use of this facility to learn various modern techniques of accounting.
