The College campus is situated in palur hills and is based on several buildings, all next to each other. The buildings are spacious with facilities that enable students to enjoy a successful academic and social life. The campus consists of several well built hostel blocks, both for girls and boys, with capacity of 2000 students. Each hostel consists of a separate mess, administrative office, hostel superintendent and caretaker.

Scholarships are important resources for college students who sometimes struggle to make ends meet. College students rely on financial aid that helps them to pursue their education without any hindrance. There are several scholarship programs open to undergraduates and post graduates at NIST.
Each scholarship makes up its own rules which take into consideration academic performance, attendance, extracurricular activities. The scholarship is aimed at certain groups within the student body. Each one of the scholarships is given under different categories related to their performance in different fields.
