The Gujarat flying club was established on 20th December 1958, since its inception, the club has produced a number of commercial pilots, aircraft maintenance engineers, flight engineers, as well as flying instructors who are active in the field of aviation to date, with a number of them holding prestigious positions in the Armed Forces as well as with commercial airlines.

Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Licence | Commercial Pilots License (CPL) | Flying Clubs | Private Pilots Licence (PPL) | Student Pilots License (SPL)

1 .	Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Licence
	Eligibility Candidates must have passed std XII with Physics, Maths & Chemistry
	Other Details Student who have completed the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering coursse can be taken on for a 12-month practical training. This would enable them to appear for the AME exam conducted by the DGCA, New Delhi

2 .	Commercial Pilots License (CPL)
	Eligibility HSC Pass with Physics & Mathematics
	Duration 18-24 months
	Other Details Age : 16 years completed at first solo flight; Hours required for flight : 200 hours for CPL

Flying Clubs

4 .	Private Pilots Licence (PPL)
	Eligibility After obtaining the SPL
	Duration 8 months approximately
	Other Details This license is only valid for flying for hobby Purpose; Age : 16 years completed at first solo flight.;

5 .	Student Pilots License (SPL)
	Eligibility Std X Pass with result declared
	Duration 2 months
	Admission Procedure an oral exam as specified by the FII
	Other Details 16 Years completed; Medical Fitness: The clearances required are Medical Form CA-34, an x-ray with corresponding report an ECG graph & report, a Pathology Lab report, etc. As the current regulations stand, eye glasses are permitted, however, any form of colour blindness and anyone who is hard of hearing will be disqualified immediately.
