Mar Baselios Institute of Technology (MBIT) was founded in the year of 2003 by the late Moran Mor Cyril Baselios Catholicos as the fulfillment of a long cherished dream of providing facilities for higher technical education to the people of Anchal and surrounding regions, strives to provide high quality technology education to develop technology manpower with a distinct identity and character where education and training are imparted in an environment conducive to fostering Christian values such as faith in God, love for their fellow beings and devotion to the motherland. Every facility is provided in the campus to create an environment fully conducive to realizing this objective. The administration and day-to-day management is being carried out by our patron His Beatitude Moran Mor Baselios Cardinal Cleemis Catholicos, Supremo of the Malankara Syrian Catholic Major Archiepiscopal Eparchy.
Software Laboratory:MBIT has well-furnished Computer Labs with modern equipped Computer terminals, LCD Projectors, installed with latest version of software’s Students can use the Computer Lab’s and resources including printers, scanners, and projectors on all working days. Laboratory consist of more than 65 nodes connected in lab with advanced servers under windows7,Linux-Ubuntu environments.
Hardware Laboratory:In the laboratory, the students will install drives, memory, various circuit boards, drivers, and operating systems. Also, the students develop mastery of advanced Microsoft-Office skills. Integration of data from different Microsoft-Office applications will be covered. install, using good industry practices, any field replaceable unit such as RAM, drives, power supply, processor, etc
Microprocessor Laboratory: This laboratory provides hand-on experience to interface I/O devices, perform A/D and D/A conversions, design digital clock, traffic light control system etc.,
Library: The library has a good collection of computer related books. It also subscribes the best periodicals – both Indian and foreign, relating to information technology.
Auditorium:To undertake events like seminars, conferences,cultural programs, debates, skits and per-placement talks MBIT has an auditorium which facilitate the students to carry out their activities in the right environment, smoothly and with ease.
