Eligibility
2nd PUC / 10+2 higher secondary education or equivalent qualifying examination with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in the optional subjects as Physics and Mathematics with Chemistry or Biology or Biotechnology, or Computer Science. In case of SC, ST& OBC the minimum aggregate marks in the above said optional subjects shall not be less than 40% in the qualifying examination.

Admission Procedure
The students seeking admission to the first year BE Degree course in Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, Bangalore shall appear in the Competitive entrance test conducted by the concerned authorities as per the approval of the college from time to time. The entrance test is presently conducted by COMEDK for All India students and KEA (CET Cell) for Karnataka students. The selection and counseling for admission will be made as per merit list published by the concerned authorities.
