Mookambigai College of Engineering was established under the aegis of Sri Mariamman Educational Trust with the aim of imparting higher knowledge in Engineering and Technology to the aspiring boys and girls so that they can emerge as competent scientists, engineers and technologists of repute. MCE was started in the year 1985, and got approval of AICTE.
Hostel Facility
College has separate and well-furnished hostels to accommodate 720 boys and 412 girls students within the Campus which make the students feel at home. The hostel mess managed by students, provides delicious South Indian food on dividing system. The hostels are provided with internet facilities for students.
The cynosure of the campus is its Training and Placement Cell which has brought laurels and glory to this institution. The Training and Placement Cell is supported and liberally sponsored by the management. The progressive policies with dynamic and positive approach have attracted many-a-company to our campus. The training and Placement Cell has been untiringly working for producing engineers equipped with state - of - the - art professionalism in the core engineering areas and the IT sector.
