Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering and Technology is a self financed institute managed and run by SRMS Trust, Bareilly. It is founded in 1996 and the college has demonstrated perennial evidence of merit and quality by achieving a respectable position among all parallel private and govt. colleges of UP Technical University
Hostel Facility
The College consists of separate hostels for boys and girls in the campus itself.
The boys hostels are named as:
Sri Laxmi Bhushan Varsenay (LBV) Hostel
Capacity 550 students.
It consists of Triple seated room for I year and II year students. and Er. S. M. Hostel
Capacity 285 students.
It consists of Single seated rooms for Final and pre-final year students. The Girls Hostel is named as:
Revati Girls hostel
Capacity 300 students.
The rooms are divided into single seated, double seated and triple seated capacity. Each room is equipped with all facilities to provide comfortable environment for the students. All inmates of the hostels have to observe prescribed rules.
The College is fully aware of having continuous Faison with Corporate House and govt. undertaking for industrial training and for campus placement of the engineering, pharmacy, MCA & MBA students. Keeping this in mind, college has a separate full-fledged placement cell headed by a person in the rank of a professor. This cell is activated collectively by the students and the heads of the departments. The cell is well-equipped with independent staff, modern means of communication etc.
