The Karpagam College of Engineering, established in the Year 2000, is an Autonomous Institution, Approved by AICTE, New Delhi and Affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. The college offers various Under Graduate Engineering and Post Graduate programmes.
With over 4500 students and 426 teaching and non-teaching staff, Karpagam College of Engineering strives to impart quality education and an excellent career start to its all its students. The efficient Placement & Training facilities add a feather to its cap by ensuring the students gets placed on campus. The 10 Centers of Excellence strive to impart the practical and experimental exposure to the students and serve as a window to the corporate world.
Hostel Facility
Separate hostel facilities for boys and girls in the campus provide comfortable accommodation. Vegetarian food is served in the Hostel. Buffet system is followed in the mess. It can accommodate 531 rooms with 2298 boys and 370 rooms 1570 Girl students. Each student will be provided with a cot, table, chair and cupboard. The institution will provide only VEGETARIAN FOOD. Facilities like Wi-Fi, Library and Reading room and Medical Facilities are available for the convenience of the students staying in the hostel. The hostel shall be under the control of the Chief Warden.(Principal). Two Deputy Wardens for each hostel will take care of their respective hostel.
