The Halina School of Home Science (earlier the Dept. of Home Economics) is about 66 years old and one of the oldest in imparting Home Science education in the country. Department of Home Economics came into existence in the year 1932. In 1997 Home Economics Department became the College of Home Science & Women's Development and later on renamed as Halina School of Home Science.
