Sriram Engineering College, a constituent of Sriram Educational Trust, was started during 1994 and is presently affiliated to Anna University and also approved by the AICTE, New Delhi. The college offers seven under graduate and six post graduate programs. National Board of Accreditation (NBA) New Delhi, has awarded the Accreditation Status to all the Under graduate and Post graduate Programmes including MBA & MCA. The institute is situated at Perumalpattu near the Veppampattu railway station. It is fit to be embossed in golden letters that students of our college have secured university ranks and gold medals.
Library- To Promote a spirit of continuous learning among its students the Sriram Engineering College assures peaceful and enriching hours in the library. It has 6994 Sq ft. and having a seating capacity of 100. It has about 30254 volumes and 12215 titles of books. In addition to which, the library also subscribes 90 International and National Journals and periodicals. In this fully automated library, students and staff members can search for books by Author, Title or Subject Heading and their availability. Each student is given 3 library books at a time and they have allocated library hours/week. In addition, separate library is available for each department
The Placement cell coordinates with the industries and facilitates placement for all the students of our college. It also organises workshop to develop the personality skills of the students and equip them to succeed in this world of competition. Leading organisations conduct campus interviews at our college regularly.
