Important Dates

Online applications are invited for NERIST Entrance Examination (NEE) 2024 to be conducted by the North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology (NERIST), Nirjuli, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh for Base Module (Certificate Course), Till July 2020, twenty-nine batches of students in Agricultural Engineering, Civil Engineering, ComputerScience and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Forestry have graduated and many have been placed in reputed organizations at national and international levels.

Eligibility :

NEE-I
Maximum Age Limits as on 31st July, 2024 are 19 years for the students of the general category(GE) (born on or after 1st August, 2005), 22 years for OBC and female applicants (born on or after 1st August, 2002) and 24years for ST/SC/PD (born on or after 1st August, 2000).).

Academic Qualification :Applicants must have Passed/Appeared in Class X / Matriculation / Secondary examination or an equivalent examination with Science and Mathematics. They should have passed in all the subjects including Science and Mathematics separately.

NEE-II
Maximum Age Limits as on 31st July, 2024 are 23 years for the students of the general category (GE) (born on or after 1st August, 2001), 26 years for OBC and female applicants (born on or after 1st August, 1998) and 28 years for ST/SC/PD (born on or after 1st August, 1996).

Academic Qualifications for different schemes/modes of NEE-II:
((i) NEE-II (PCM): Applicants must have passed/appeared in 10+2/ Higher Secondary/Sr. Secondary with Physics ,Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM).
(ii) NEE-II (PCB): Applicants must have passed/appeared in 10+2/Higher Secondary/Sr. Secondary with Physics ,Chemistry and Biology (PCB).
(iii) NEE-II (Vocational): Applicants must have passed/appeared10+2(Vocational) / ITI / NERIST Certificate in any one of the branches / trades, viz., [Agricultural Engineering] Farm Equipment (FE) / Food Processing (FP); [Civil Engineering] Construction Technology i.e. Draftsmanship / Surveyor (CT); [Electronics and Communications Engineering] Electronics Technology or Electronics Maintenance (ET/EM); [Electrical Engineering] Electrical Technology or Electrical Maintenance (ET/EM); [Mechanical Engineering] Mechanical Craftsmanship (MC) / Automobile Technology (AT) andRefrigeration & Air Conditioning (R&AC) are eligible.

NEE-III
Maximum Age Limits as on 31st July, 2024 are 30 years for the students of the general category (GE) (born on or after 1st August, 1994), 33 years for OBC and female applicants (born on or after 1st August, 1991) and 35 years for ST/SC/PD (born on or after 1st August, 1989).

Academic Qualifications for NEE-III ;

 Applicants must have passed/appeared the 3-year Diploma course from any Government recognized polytechnic / institution in the respective or allied discipline/ branch as per the Appendix - I given in this Information Brochure with a minimum of 60% marks considering aggregate marks of all the three years’ together/CGPA of 6.5 on a 10 point scale or NERIST Diploma Module with a minimum of CGPA 6.0.Those applicants who do not possess their qualifications as per the disciplines/branches mentioned in Appendix-I are not eligible for the admissionFor more details, refer official website.

How to Apply :

Candidates have to apply ONLINE ONLY. Online submission of the application may be made by accessing the website: https://www.neeonline.ac.in

• Candidates must follow the instructions strictly as given in https://www.neeonline.ac.in
• After the successful filling up of the online form, a registration confirmation page will be generated for each candidate bearing a UNIQUE REGISTRATION NUMBER, which the candidate will use for downloading/printing of Admit Card, etc.
• The Information Brochure containing detailed information of the examination syllabus, eligibility criteria, state, age, etc. is available on https://www.neeonline.ac.in
• The examination fee may be paid online directly by using debit/credit cards/Net banking. In case of Offline payment a Challan form can be downloaded from https://www.neeonline.ac.in and deposit the fee in any branch of Axis Bank. The payment details (deposit journal No. ) for the Challan form has to be filled up the time of final submission of the online registration form for NEE-2024
