Important Dates

Candidates aspiring to join MBA / MSc (CA) / MSc (SS) programmes offered by institutes of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) have to appear for the common, mandatory Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Computer Based Test 2024. A candidate needs to register for SNAP Test & also register for the institutes offering his/ her choice of programmes by paying separate programmes registration fees. If shortlisted, he/she would then need to attend the GE-PIWAT process conducted by each of these institutes individually.

ELIGIBILITY

Graduate from any recognized / statutory University or Institute with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST). Programmes which require specific discipline/ subject specialization need to be checked for eligibility as given by the respective Institute.

A candidate who has completed qualifying degree from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). All foreign degrees/ qualifications need to be verified from AIU by the candidate before seeking admission to any programme of SIU.

SNAP TEST STRUCTURE

Nature of Question Paper / Topics and Marks Allotted

• Please note that the SNAP Test 2024 will be a computer-based test.
• SNAP Test duration is of 60 minutes.
• SNAP TEST 2024 timing’s will be available on the Admit Card.
• SNAP Test is an objective test. Each question has four responses. The candidate should choose an appropriate response.
• Each wrong answer attracts 25% negative marks.

NOTE : SNAP Test 2024 will be conducted in 84 cities all over India.

SNAP TEST 2024 - REGISTRATION PROCESS

1. SNAP Test 2024 will be conducted on three different dates.  Timings of the tests will be communicated to the candidates via their Admit Card
2. A candidate can appear for upto three tests for SNAP 2024. If a candidate appears for more than one test, the higher score will be considered for the final percentile calculation and there will be no normalization . A rigorous process that has been statistically tested will be administered to ensure that unique types of questions are framed under a specific topic across the question papers. The normal spread will ensure that there is no unfair advantage to candidates who opt for any specific test / multiple tests. This will ensure normalisation of the spread of questions across sections. Furthermore, the question papers will be normalised for the level of difficulty across all three tests. No correspondence regarding this will be entertained.
3. Register online on the website  snaptest.org
   Note – Any change in the online registration form (except name, date of birth, category, test city preferences and test date) will be entertained only up to No change shall be permitted after this date (yet to be announced). under any circumstances.
4. Ensure that the information you have filled in is accurate. No change in name, date of birth, category, test city and test date requests will be entertained once a candidate has paid her/his SNAP Test 2024 registration fee.
5. SNAP Test registration fee and programme registration fee of the Institute is non- refundable and non-transferable.
6. Upload your latest scanned colour passport size photo (in case a candidate is registering for SNAP on a desktop) at the time of online registration for the SNAP Test. (Your photograph should not be more than six months old).

MODES OF PAYMENT FOR THE SNAP TEST PROCESS

A candidate may pay through
i) Billdesk Payment Gateway
ii) Easebuzz Payment Gateway
iii) Demand Draft.
Pay the SNAP Test registration fee upto (date yet to be announced) as per the instructions mentioned on the website for Payment of SNAP Test registration fee.

NOTE – SNAP Test registration fee and programme registration fee of the Institute is non-refundable and non-transferable.

PAYMENT THROUGH DEMAND DRAFT:

Submit a Demand Draft (DD) of INR 2250 per test (government taxes would be additional as and when applicable) from any Nationalized Bank in favour of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune.
Choose the mode of Payment as 'DD Payment' in ‘Make Payment’ Tab. Take a print of the payment advice form, fill in the DD Details, sign and send it along with the DD to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat only at,

The Symbiosis Test Secretariat (STS) will authenticate the details of the Demand Draft and will send you an email confirming the payment. Only after the realisation of payment, would you be able to view your Admit Card.

Note: All communications with candidate will be done through the official email address info@snaptest.org only . Please ensure that this email address is whitelisted in your registered email. If you do not receive the registration/payment confirmation mail, within 24 hours, please check your spam/junk folder just in case these emails got delivered there instead of your inbox. Candidates must declare and maintain a valid and unique email account and a mobile phone number throughout the selection process.
