Admission Notification 2008

Applications are invited for admission to the 2008 batch of the following three courses of this Training Centre starting on 1st September, 2008

Courses Offered Three Year Diploma in Instrument Technology Four Year Advanced Diploma in Mechatronics and Industrial Automation Four Year Advanced Diploma in Die and Mould Making Eligibility : Passed 10th or equivalent ten years of recognised study (or any other recognised higher examination with Mathematics and Science subjects) securing minimum 55% marks in aggregate (50% for SC/ST). For wards of Kashmiri migrants 10% relaxation will be given. Those who have appeared in the qualifying examination this year are also eligible to apply. No: of Seats : Total 70 seats. For General: 54 seats.(11 reserved for SC and 5 for ST candidates) 2 seats reserved for Physically challenged candidates (with disability in one leg or one arm and partially deaf) out of total seats. Selection : Through Entrance test conducted annually on All India basis. Admission Procedure : Application form with prospectus may be obtained from the office of the Principal. ISTC on payment of Rs. 1000/- (for SC/ST candidates Rs. 500/-) (examination fee included) on any working day between 9.30 A.M. to 12.30 P.M. . If required by mail, send a demand draft for the same amount , drawn on State Bank of India, Sector 30, Chandigarh (Code: 1443) in favor of Central Scientific Instruments Organization, Chandigarh, along with a self addressed slip of size 18 cm x 8cm with postage stamp of Rs.55/-affixed on top right corner of the slip.
